Harmonix has applied to license several hip hop songs. It does not mean the songs will appear in a game or DLC. But it’s about time Harmonix made the move to hip-hop. I wonder how Activision will respond.
Track List (so far)
M.O.P. - “Ante Up”
Cascada - “Evacuate the Dance Floor”
Trey Songs - “Say Aah”
Timbaland feat. D.O.E. - “The Way I Are”

posted by butcherblack on February 3rd, 2010
Thursday February 4, 2010 Doritos and EA Sports will kick off a new campaign for Madden 11. You the fan will be able to vote for who will be on the cover of Madden 11 this fall. Now I wanna shout out PastaPadre for putting the bug out there about this. I took it a step further and went to the store and got me a bag of Doritos (Nacho Cheese playa) and read the rules. Now the rules on the bag don’t match up with what is being said on the website (Snackstrongproductions) as it is tells people to check back on the 4th for details but on the bag it clearly states the contest started on the 1st (huge typo?). You can vote for Jared Allen, Drew Brees or Reggie Wayne.
So here is a brief overview of the rules as I understand them: Sweepstakes begins 2/4/2010 12:00 am cst and ends 11:59:59 pm cst on 3/5/10. The voting period is separated into 44 Daily and 6 weekly Voting Periods. A day is a 24hrs period. Each Week begins on a Friday @ 12:00:00 am ct and 11:59:59 pm ct. During the voting period, www.snackstrongproductions.com, during the voting period register for the game, view the eligible athletes you want to appear on the Madden NFL 11 cover [a “Vote”]. Limit one [1] Vote per person/registered use/email address per day. Grand Prize [6]: A trip for winner and [1] guest to the 2010 NFL Draft. Approximate retail value [“ARV”]: 3,500 each Grand Prize. So be sure to check out the site listed above tomorrow and place your vote for your favorite player(s) provided
